Tender shepherd, tender shepherd
Watches over all his sheep
One the garden, two in the meadow
Three in the nursery, fast asleep.
~Carolyn Leigh (Peter Pan)

A good night’s sleep is a gift to ourselves. It restores our bodies and allows us to run another day at full speed. We can sense the clarity in our thinking and zip in our body when we are rested.

Our creativity is enhanced by our dreams and images we fashion. Time in sleep allows our conscious mind to take a back seat, while we listen for answers to important questions that have challenged us during our waking hours.

Restful, creative. Alone, shared. Hot, cold.

Do you have a favorite sleeping position? Or pillow or blanket that helps you fall asleep?
